I'm a total California girl who grew up on the Central Coast, explored the Bay Area during undergrad, and finally fell in love with the South Bay when I moved down here for PT school … although we do make an exception to visit my fiancé’s family in Kauai regularly ◡̈
I received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy at USC (fight on!) in 2018 after receiving my Bachelor's degrees in Integrative Biology and in Psychology at UC Berkeley (go bears!) in 2015. More recently, I received an additional specialty board certification for pediatrics in 2023.
I was a competitive gymnast (as well as a gymnastics coach) growing up and on throughout college, which both provided a foundation for my love of movement and helped me discover my passion for working with kids.
I specialized in pediatrics during my final year of PT school and I've never looked back. I believe that movement should be fun, and I get so much joy out of helping my kids get strong and confident, allowing them to fully explore their environments.
I started my peds career in an outpatient clinic setting for several years before branching out into splitting my time between the clinic and in-home settings. I have currently been enjoying expanding my in-home services and getting to explore early intervention services with regional center clients and in-patient therapy at a children's hospital.
I love the in-home benefits of working with families in their natural environments and having the flexibility to create our own timelines. The convenience, carryover, and collaboration of treating in a family’s daily home environment all create so many opportunities for both fun and function!
When I’m not working you can usually find me at the beach, climbing rocks, eating sweets, or cuddled up reading with our fur baby ◡̈
